Scamming the phone scammers

*mobile rings with unknown caller*
Me: hello?
Caller: can I speak to Andy Parmo please?
Me: speaking.
Caller: I’m calling from First Call about a road traffic accident that you had in the last two and a half years.
Me: oh, yes. Awful affair.
Caller: We’re looking to close the file so we need to make sure you were happy with the service you received and that you got your compensation.
Me: yes, I was very happy.
Caller: and you got all your compensation?
Me: yes.
Caller: and was there anyone else in the vehicle with you? Did they get their compensation?
Me: out of 53 passengers in the coach, 6 were killed so they didn’t claim. 12 are still outstanding so that makes 35 happy punters.
Caller: coach? Killed? Um…
Me: yes. It was awful. That poor man in the back seat burnt to death. The court cleared me of any wrongdoing.
Caller: I’m not sure I have the right file here…
Me: I’m sure you don’t.
*ends call*
