There were no posts in the Nosebag category so I thought I’d better rustle one up sharpish. And what else could we start with but the glorious Parmo?
Parmo or Parmesan, a breaded cutlet dish originating in Middlesbrough, is popular in the north east of England, North Yorkshire and especially in the towns of Stockton-on-Tees, Darlington and Hartlepool. Similar to a Schnitzel, it typically consists of deep-fried chicken in bread crumbs topped with a cheddar cheese sauce. Variations use pork or, much less commonly, a vegetarian style.
Get yer laughing gear around that. Go on. You know you want to.
